The Regiment Support Service not only enhances the operational capabilities of The Royal Welsh but also fosters a spirit of unity and resilience among all those associated with it and operates as a dedicated non-profit social enterprise to assisting The Royal Welsh in the production of regiment notebooks.
The regiment notebooks serve a dual purpose as a practical tool for officers and soldiers but also a symbol of camaraderie and support within the regiment. The notebooks are provided at no cost to all officers and soldiers who contribute a day’s pay to the Regiment Association. This initiative is particularly significant as it directly supports both current and former soldiers who find themselves facing challenging circumstances, ensuring that they receive the assistance they need during difficult times.
In addition to serving the regiment’s members, the notebooks are also available for purchase by the business community and the public, opening an avenue for wider community engagement and support, as all proceeds from these sales are directed to The Royal Welsh Regimental Welfare and Benevolence Foundation. This foundation plays a crucial role in providing welfare and support services, reinforcing the regiment’s commitment to the well-being of its members and their families.
