Leading Talent proudly supports this remarkable charity, recognising the positive impact it has on the lives of its members. To further contribute to the club’s mission, Leading Talent is actively exploring ways to assist with the upcoming gala. This collaboration not only aims to enhance the experience for participants but also to raise awareness about the importance of accessible swimming opportunities for individuals with diverse needs. By working together, both organisations hope to create a legacy of support and encouragement for all those who seek to thrive in the water.

The swimming club is dedicated to creating an inclusive environment for individuals who can greatly benefit from aquatic exercise, particularly those facing physical or mental conditions that may hinder their enjoyment of traditional public swimming sessions. By providing a supportive atmosphere, the club aims to empower its members, helping them to overcome barriers and rediscover the joy of being in the water.

Every Sunday, members come together for a structured 1 hour and 15-minute session at the Stevenage Swimming Pool. During these sessions, participants not only engage in physical activity but also build confidence and develop their swimming skills in a safe and encouraging setting.

In addition to regular practice, the club actively participates in competitive swimming galas that adhere to the rules set forth by the National Association of Swimming Clubs for the Handicapped (NASCH). These events provide members with the chance to showcase their progress and compete in a friendly environment. Among the highlights of the club’s calendar is the annual Club Championship Gala, typically held in October, which serves as a celebration of the members’ hard work and dedication throughout the year.
